(WENN) -- Lindsay Lohan is reportedly planning to launch an island resort in Dubai called 'Lindsayland'.
The 32-year-old actress has turned her hand to hospitality in recent years, forging a club empire in Greece with venues in Mykonos, Athens, and another soon to be opening, in Rhodes.
According to Page Six, the Mean Girls star has now set her sights on the United Arab Emirates city after holidaying there earlier this year.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, the actress uploaded a photo of what she called a "prototype" complex in Dubai and revealed her plans to transform the space, creatively dubbing the project "Lindsayland" and "Lohan Island Dubai".
The image Lindsay posted is believed to have come from plans for a property called Jasmine Garden on Dubai's man-made archipelago, The World, whose group of islands were constructed to resemble a map when viewed from above.
According to a 2012 report on Emirates 24/7, investors in the project were "offered a full refund by the developer" after the project was put on hold.
News of Lindsay's empire expansion comes after the Freaky Friday star expressed an interest in the island in January.
Posting a picture of herself sunbathing on a nearby beach to Instagram, Lindsay proclaimed: "Soon this will be Lohan Island."
If successful, the resort will be the latest in a string of side-projects undertaken by the actress in recent years.
Lindsay is currently starring in an MTV reality show entitled Lohan Beach Club about her Greek businesses, while it was reported last month that the star is also planning a "tell-all" book to document her former party girl lifestyle.
